“Circular Trip” is a piece designed to be shown at the ecological greenhouse space in Kibbutz Ein Shemer and was part of the exhibition “Artaftephet” curated by Erez Uzan and Atar Geva.

The piece is a continuum of projected paintings, initially painted with felt-tip pens on paper and then edited digitally. Simultaneously another layer is projected on top of the projected paintings of five frogs in varying colors circulating in a loop. 

The paintings are projected onto a pool filled with water lettuce plants that rotate slowly with the help of a hose and water pump. The result is a contantly changing mix of unique textures as the projection interacts with the multiple surfaces. Snippets of swamp recordings accompany the installation creating a multisensory experience.
